2016 Olympics- Rio De Janeiro

Personally, upon finding this out, I thought it was great news. I thought it would be good for Brazil. As much as I love America, they're probably the most financially screwed over country out of the finalists (thank you George W Bush, the original monkey man).

However, a vast majority of the commenters on PerezHilton.com didn't seem to think so.

"Rio is violent, Rio is bad, blah blah blah blah", well I've got news for you: THE WHOLE FUCKING WORLD IS CORRUPT. Pick a country, and there are at least 3 ways in which it is screwed up. I'm Australian/American, spend my life going back and fourth, and the flaws are obvious. Contrary to popular belief, the system here (Australia. more specifically Victoria) kinda really sucks. A friend who lives a few blocks away from me had their house broken into the other day. A store at the local village was robbed and vandalized. The majority of the beach-side towns near where I live are over-run by "bogans". I'm not saying EVERYONE is like this, but I'm just saying there are a lot of scummy people in the world.
The health care system is great though, but when you're in the fucking emergency room for 4 hours, then you know there's still a problem. Also, the doctor at THE HOSPITAL didn't know how to read X-Rays. Go figure.

My dad is Italian, his parents moved from Sicily to Australia because of the violence problem (with mafia and whatnot, although pretty much every country has a mafia now). And I know a lot of people who had issues with China hosting the 2008 olympics because their policies about basic human rights.

My point is, there is no way we are going to find a country without problems, especially in an economic crisis. So stop your biased bitching and be happy for Rio. There's always the 2020 Olympics, and then, most probably, many more after that.

Well, at least here you'll be treated with dignity

Did anyone hear about that dog Muffy who was lost for 9 years, and ended up in Melbourne when originally was from Queensland? That was pretty cool. I have a feeling that if we didn't run after Ziggy then he'd turn up in Perth. Or, he'd get bored and come home. After all, we have food. Ziggy's not as dumb as he looks, he'd be able to find his way back easily.
I kinda can't help but wonder... what if Muffy runs away again? I highly doubt that would happen, because that would be kind of really super tragic, but, from personal experience, if a dog runs away, there is nothing from stopping him/her from running away again. Just ask Ziggy, he's an expert on the subject. Or, he would be, if he could talk.

^ Ziggy =D

I was going to say something else, but I forgot what it was. It might have been important, but I'm not sure. Can't have been that important if I don't remember. My computer went all slow cause I'm using Parallel (windows on a mac) to download the software for my new phone (I wanna pimp it out =P).
Also, I'm watching One Tree Hill. It's the 6th episode of season 4. Brooke and the teacher... HOLY CRAP. I seriously love this show, so much drama. Lucas's dad got a haircut. I liked it better before. I can't remember his name... Mark or something, I don't know. I don't really like his character, all he cares about is basketball, he doesn't really care about his sons.

An ad with a massive ass doll blowing bubbles just came on. And the bubbles turned into Allen's snakes. False advertising, bubbles don't turn into snakes. It would be awesome if they did though.

Well, anyway, I can't really think of anything else to say.

xoxo
